Cinnamon Pear Frozen Yogurt

All the delicious smells and tastes of fall combined into a tasty sweet treat. Just because it is cold outside doesn't mean that it is time to retire the ice cream maker. There are plenty of delicious frozen treats with a fall flavor. Pears and cinnamon always remind me of fall. This makes the perfect ending to a nice hearty cold weather meal.

This is another recipe that I had discrepancies between the nutritional information and the Points+ calculator. The Point+ calculator says this is only two points, which is what I am going with, while the nutrition information says it is 3 Points+. You can decide how you want to count them.

Cinnamon Pear Frozen Yogurt

Makes 8 servings, serving size 1/2 cup

1 15 oz can of pears in pear juice
1 1/4 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
3/4 cup whole milk vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1. Combine pears and pear juice, yogurts, sugar, cinnamon and allspice in a blender and food processor and blend until spoon

2. Refrigerate until cold, about 3 hours

3. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions
